          Laura Bishop was awarded NFCC's 2012 Astronomy Club Member of the Year for her role as team captain on the MoonBuggy team as well as president of the Astronomy Club, where she single handedly raised over $5000 for the MoonBuggy project. Laura Bishop of Tallahassee, Florida was also given the Outstanding Student of the Year award in both Astronomy and Humanities, while picking up another award as a member on the Brain Bowl team. Laura Bishop is also a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
